The Company
is
a family owned company, founded in 1950, that started supplying
parts for the Defense and motorbikes markets.
Since the beginning of its history, S.I.ME. was a certified supplier
of the Italian Ministry of Defense and worked in close partnership
with major industries in the strategic market.
In the 70’s S.I.ME. improved its capability of acting as a Main Contractor
and entered also the printing machines parts market.
In the 80’s and 90’s S.I.ME. enters the aeronautical market,
where we acquired a great experience, thanks to the skill of our
people and the technical leadership of our Customers. Moreover we started
the cooperation with major companies in the Energy compartment.
DEVELOPEMENT: In the last 10 years S.I.ME. has invested in new equipment and tools, in order to follow the Customers on the path of innovation. We have gained significant experience in machining materials such as Titanium Alloys, Carbon Fiber and Inconel, in fully exploiting our 4 and 5 axis Vertical Workcenters combined with an up-to-date CAD/CAM software. In order to be aligned with the Aerospace market and industry developement, we are also part of important projects and associations
MISSION:
S.I.ME. mission is to supply the Customer, in a partnership relationship,
with reliable and certified precise mechanical parts, together
with a flexible and professional service, ranging from Material
Purchasing to complete assembly.
We are ready to apply kan-ban and JIT concepts and we strive to
maintain our “lean manufacturing” attitude.
